Our Christmas message this year was written by Sue Mayfield, a novelist with a particular interest in emotional landscapes and the healing power of language. She has been a hospital writer-in-residence, facilitates creative writing courses for people affected by cancer and has been helping individuals and groups to put things into words for NHS Gloucestershire's ArtLift project since 2007.
